Lisa gets a job!

Woohoo!!!!!! Lisa started her new job today. She's working for some doctor down here doing some doctory type stuff or something. Gone are her days of sitting around and watching soap operas all day. The boys will probably take a few days to adjust to not having someone home all day, but they'll get used to it.

Won't you be my neighbor?

ok, so we still don't have any neighbors. All the houses around us are built, but no one has bought them yet. I kinda like it cause it is nice and peaceful, but at the same time, it would be nice to actually have some neighbors, maybe even become friendly with them. Who knows?

So if anyone wants to move on down, you can be our neighbors. And, I just saw a sign go up that says 6 months, no payments for the houses. So they are cheap and free for 6 months!

Anyway, thats all I have for now. They'll be a new post Monday to celebrate something........

Reason number 72,859 why Carolina rules

Thats right. It's Neill McNeill. He is one of our local newscasters and I applaud his parents for not taking the easy way out naming him something like Scott or Bill. It's Neill motherfuckin' McNeill. He has possibly the greatest news name ever.......... Just sayin'

The Llumbus family is growing!

That's right. You heard it here first. Breaking news. The family is growing and we wasted no time in making it happen. There will soon be another little boy running around the house. Lisa will continue to be the sole female in the house. That's right, any day now lil' Moe Szyslak will be born and he will be coming home to meet his brothers at the end of January.

For those of you that haven't figured it out yet. We are getting another dog. A black lab this time who will promptly be named, Mr. Moe Szyslak.

We finally got the fence put up in the backyard so the boys are now able to run free, so we decided that it was time to get Moe. We are getting him from Here. And here are some pictures of his Dad, Pic 1 Pic 2 Pic 3. I hope he looks exactly like his dad because his dad rocks! I'll post some cute puppy pictures once we get him (and once I figure out how).

The First Visitors

Well, we had our first visitors at the house for the holidays. Lisa's mom came up from Texas on Monday and was here for Thanksgiving. We also had her grandparents over on Thanksgiving too. So the first holiday in the new house was a success. And, Lisa made a killer pecan pie which really rocked! So her mom left on Friday morning and we had a few hours to straighten up and do whatever we needed to do before my parents arrived that afternoon. They spent the weekend and left on Monday morning.

It was nice to have them all there and show them the house and the area, but it feels really good to get back to normal life again where I can walk around in my underwear whenever I want!

Who knows what christmas and new years will bring. We probably aren't coming home, so it will probably just be us at the house. Me with my beer and Lisa with her new found love for chardonnay.

The entry into dorkdom

Well, here it is. I think I promised myself some time ago that I would never be a dork and have a blog. Well things change. I figure this is a lot easier than calling people and giving them updates on our lives. And lets face it, I hate the telephone and am not one to spend hours calling all of you and talking about what is new. Nothing personal, just not me. I want to know whats going on with everyone and want everyone to know whats up with us, so this is the easiest way I figure.

Anywho, there it is. This first post. I just broke my cherry.
